Small Dutch craft distillery in the former Maria Ad Fontes monastery (est. 1850) in Ootmarsum, near the German border. Founded by Gerard Velthuis, former ad company owner, who started distilling fruit 2004, added whisky 2011. Uses local Twente oak for cask maturation — a 100% regional single malt. Second still installed 2018. Multiple Destillata awards.
