Denmark's most acclaimed whisky distillery, founded by nine friends. Uses floor-malted Danish grain and direct-fire pot stills -- uniquely has 24 small stills arranged in pairs. New distillery building (2018, designed by Fjord Arkitekter) dramatically increased capacity. Produces Rye, Smoke (heather-smoked), Kaos (blended), and El Clasico (vermouth finish). Diageo acquired minority stake in 2018.
