Finch

A Swabian whisky distillery in the hills of Baden-Wurttemberg, producing German single malt and specialty grain whiskies. Founded in the Schwabische Alb (Swabian Alps), Finch uses locally grown barley and ages in an eclectic range of casks including sherry, port, Madeira, rum, and Swabian wine casks. The range includes single malt, dinkel (spelt) whisky, and experimental grain-to-glass expressions. Finch's spelt whisky is particularly noteworthy -- Dinkelacker (spelt beer) is a Swabian tradition, and using this ancient grain for whisky connects to the region's agricultural heritage. The distillery benefits from Swabia's continental climate with warm summers and genuine Alpine-influenced cold winters.
