Filliers Distillery

Historic Belgian distillery near Ghent, founded 1880 by Kamiel Filliers with a jenever distilling permit. First Belgian distillery to mature whisky, launching Goldlys in 2007 — Belgium's first whisky. Goldlys is a single estate grain whisky named after the River Lys (Golden River). Also first to release double-still Belgian whisky. Primarily a jenever/gin producer with whisky as a growing segment.
