Black Velvet
One of Canada's largest distilleries, producing the Black Velvet brand -- historically one of Canada's top-selling whiskies in the US market. Located in Lethbridge, Alberta, the distillery benefits from Rocky Mountain water and Alberta's grain belt. Originally built by Gilbey's, acquired by Sazerac in 2019. Massive blending and aging capacity makes it a significant player in North American whisky production.
