Romania's first and only single malt whisky distillery, with origins dating to 1789 in the Dealu Mare wine region of Prahova County. Produces Carpathian Single Malt from 100% Romanian malted barley using Scottish double-distillation methods in custom copper pot stills. Matured initially in first-fill Kentucky bourbon barrels, then finished in wine and cognac casks. 20,000 sq m facility with ISO and IFS certification, 42M litre bottling capacity. Double Gold at San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2024, Gold at London Spirits Competition 2024. Romania's most decorated whisky.
